Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer, and singer. She is an attractive, talented actress who has helped numerous Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. After a series of appearances in television shows that were popular, she became famous when she was cast on the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. Following a dramatic rise in her popularity, she landed roles on big screens such as Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She then delivered an amazing performance as Japanese criminal lord O'RenIshii in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. While she was in the film, her roles as an actor in films that failed that were box-office hits like Rise: Blood Hunter were equally prominent. Then, she was voice actor for animated films including Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small screen characters, failed to achieve much success. Southland was a critically-acclaimed crime drama that established her as a leading actress. Liu has a lot of care when choosing her roles to ensure she's not a typecast. She's acknowledged her Chinese heritage, but she doesn't allow it to limit her artistically.
