Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek, a Mexican American performer born to Spanish and Lebanese parents, is Mexican. She grew up in a wealthy Roman Catholic family from Mexico. When she was a little girl, she was introduced to the film "Willy Woonka" and the Chocolate Factory' caught her attention. Following her studies at Mexico City's "Universidad Iberoamericana," she felt prepared to enter the world of film. In the Mexican Telenovela "Teresa," she was the first to make her debut an actor. She was made a part in the movie "Desperado" with Antonio Banderas after arriving in Hollywood. The film was followed by appearances in 'Fools 'Rush In" and "Wild West' among others. Her role was reprised of 'Desperado' from 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico in the following year, and then founded her own production business called "Ventanarosa.' She was the producer of the Mexican film 'El Coronel No Tiene Quien Le Escriba". It is Mexico's entry in the Oscars under the category "Best foreign film.' Also, she was the executive producer of 'Ugly Betty.' The show was awarded Outstanding Guest actor (Comedy Series) during the 59th Primetime Emmy Awards. She has also endorsed products like 'Revlon' and 'Avon and launched her own range of skincare, cosmetics and hair products called 'Nuance.' The campaign helped to raise funds to purchase vaccines in order to protect the tetanus of the mother or neonatal.
